Surgical patients come to New Braunfels Surgical Center by referral from their physician. The center is an 18,000 square foot facility with four operating rooms and two procedure rooms.

General Surgery: A General Surgeon has specialized knowledge and experience related to the diagnosis, pre-operative, operative, and post-operative management, including the management of complications, in the nine primary components of surgery.


Gynecology: Gynecology is the specialty of diseases of the female reproductive system.

Otolaryngology (ENT): An Otolaryngologist, or head and neck surgeon, is a physician who provides comprehensive medical and surgical care of patients with diseases and disorders that affect the ears, the respiratory and upper alimentary systems, and related structures of the head and neck.


Ophthalmologic Surgery: Ophthalmologists are physicians specializing in the comprehensive medical and surgical care of the eyes and vision. Ophthalmologists are the only practitioners medically trained to diagnose and treat all eye and visual problems including vision services (glasses and contacts) and provide treatment and prevention of medical disorders of the eye including surgery.


Orthopaedic Surgery: The scope of orthopaedics includes the prevention, investigation, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders and injuries of the musculoskeletal system or bones, joints, tendons, and muscles by non-surgical and surgical methods. Orthopaedic Surgery significantly improves the lives of people with operative procedures to regain mobility and function.


Pain Management: Pain medicine doctors are experts at diagnosing why you are having pain as well as treating the pain itself. Pain is managed in a variety of ways including injection. Pain Management specialists often work closely with other physicians in the treatment of patients with chronic pain.


Podiatric Surgery: Podiatry is the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the human foot and ankle and their manifestations of systemic conditions. Treatment of various conditions may include palliative care, biomechanical modalities, physical therapy, surgical intervention, and the prescription of both systemic and topical medications.


Spine Surgery: Spine Surgery is an orthopedic surgery specialty. Spine surgeons work with patients who have major spine problems as a result of disease, degeneration, or trauma.
